Lloyd’s Removals Care Policy
Our Care Policy reflects our complete commitment to providing a removals service that is transparent and trustworthy.
Here you will find information that covers our caring approach from arrival to delivery.
Upon Arrival
We ensure:
- Our truck is parked so it does not damage property, amenities, low wires or branches
- Floor coverings are placed around the front door to prevent debris being carried inside
While Moving
We ensure:
- All cartons remain upright
- Furniture will be professionally carried to prevent marking of hallways and door frames
- Hand trolleys will only enter the premises when required for oversized furniture items
- Hand trolleys will be used for incorrectly packed cartons that represent a danger to Lloyd’s crew
- Bed frames and pre-fabricated (IKEA) furniture can be dismantled and re-assembled by the Lloyd’s crew
- Mattresses are carried carefully and without contact being made with the ground
- Mattress protectors are available upon request
- All furniture items will be individually wrapped in quilt covered furniture blankets
- Trucks will be loaded in accordance with moving industry guidelines
- Items will be strapped, stacked and stored to ensure minimal movement during transit
When Delivering
We ensure:
- Extreme care is taken to prevent markings being left on floors, doors and walls
- Furniture is placed in position, under the guidance of the customer
- Labelled cartons are placed in their correct location
- All excess packaging is removed from site
